Teatro Aveirense celebrates its 143rd with the premiere of a film by a director from the region and shot in this territory. As Aves is inspired by a work by Mia Couto and portrays an old man who lives isolated and surrounded by water. He hates the Gods and vents his laments with a cockatiel, Hoopoe, which he keeps imprisoned in a cage, a metaphor for his own life. However, he finds in the words of the books he discovers in the library, during his furtive wanderings around the city, his freedom.
