The Intermunicipal Reading Competition, promoted by the Library Network of the Intermunicipal Community of the Aveiro Region, arises as part of a collaborative work and is aimed at all educational establishments, public or private, in the eleven Municipalities that make up the Intermunicipal Community of the Region from Aveiro.
Its objectives relate to promoting books, encouraging pleasure in reading and developing reading skills.
