In the year in which the 50th anniversary of the revolution of April 25, 1974 is celebrated, Aveiro 2024 presents an unprecedented exhibition around freedom as a driving force of artistic practice, bringing together works from the Serralves Collection and the Aveiro Municipal Collection, with pieces in the most varied practices and disciplines, including painting, sculpture, video and installation, by Portuguese and international artists, from the avant-garde of the 1960s and 1970s to the present.
