The São Jacinto Dunes Natural Reserve, known for its beautiful dunes covered in vegetation, which border and mix with large forested areas, is the only National Protected Area in the Municipality of Aveiro. Through an interpretative route, along nature discovery trails, we will observe the three types of landscape that constitute the wildest essence of this area – dunes, pine forests and pateiras, as well as learn to identify signs of the presence of some animals, such as holes, pine cones, tracks, plants and bitten mushrooms, which inhabit this space.
